The Tarot Garden
From 1979 until her death in 2002, Saint Phalle embarked on a project that spanned several decades: bringing the 22 Major Arcana of the tarot to life in a garden of monumental sculptures called The Tarot Garden (Il Giardino dei Tarocchi).
